The Preston Residence is a Medicare-licensed long-term care skilled nursing residence. It consists of 30 spacious private rooms and four unique semiprivate rooms, and offers a complete program of rehabilitation services, short- and long-term care, nursing, respite and hospice care. Current residency at Jenner’s Pond Retirement Community is not required for admission to The Preston Residence.
Rehabilitation
In addition to our own highly trained nurses, The Preston Residence provides a full staff of on-site skilled and Board-certified speech, occupational and physical therapists, dedicated to the well-being of our residents. Both short- and long-term rehabilitation services are available. We also provide restorative rehabilitation for our long-term residents.
Skilled Care
A team approach is utilized and includes direct input from the Physician, Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse and Personal Care Manager. Other members of the team include our Activity Director, Social Services, Admissions Coordinator and Dietary Manager, all of whom contribute to the development of an individualized plan of care for each resident. Our Registered Nurse Care Plan Coordinator, who is credentialed in the state of Pennsylvania, oversees the implementation of the plan.
Long-Term Care
At Jenner’s Pond we assist our residents as they live out their lives in robust and independent health. But if the need comes for long-term care for a spouse, a friend or for any of us, The Preston Residence provides this care with compassion and dignity in a home-like environment.
Respite Care
Whether for a few days or a few months, respite care at The Preston Residence provides the same level of skilled care, respect and health care management as we do for our full-time residents, allowing family members the peace of mind and confidence they require and deserve. Potential residents often dine in our dining room with family members prior to their stay to familiarize both family and residents alike with our “home away from home.”

Spacious private and semiprivate rooms offer lots of light, thanks to large windows with views of the wetlands and woodlands that are part of the natural setting of our campus. Residents often gather around the sun-filled atrium to admire the handsome waterfall sculpture. Our dining room is bright and comfortable and complemented by a large fish tank and beautiful foliage.
