- The Ruston Residence is the Assisted Living component of Jenner’s Pond, a Continuing Care Retirement Community on 88 rolling acres of southern Chester County, Pennsylvania. Nearby cultural resources include Lincoln University, the University of Delaware, Longwood Gardens, Winterthur Gardens and Museum, and the Brandywine River Museum. Jennersville Regional Hospital is located adjacent to Jenner’s Pond.
- What levels of independence and assistance are available at The Ruston Residence?
- A wide range of dignified lifestyles is available at The Ruston Residence. For most individuals, we offer Assisted Living Level 1, with support with daily activities on an as-needed basis. Assisted Living Level 2 provides more hours of help with daily activities. Residents with minimal memory impairment find the support they need in the West Wing, while those with the greatest need find the greatest support and security in the Remembrance Wing.
- Are all suites furnished?
- Every suite is furnished with a bed, nightstand, table lamp, and chair. We also encourage residents to personalize their suites with items from home such as photographs, books, artwork, televisions and radios. The Admissions Coordinator will be happy to answer any further questions you may have.
- Does every resident of The Ruston Residence have his or her own private bath?
- Yes. Every suite has a private bathroom; many include a large stall shower, personal shower attachment and safety bars.
- Is cable television available?
- Yes. A nominal monthly fee is charged for this service.
- May residents have individual telephone service?
- Yes. This service is provided by the local phone company.
- Is transportation provided for scheduled off-campus appointments?
- Yes. The staff of The Ruston Residence will arrange fee-for-service transportation for residents as needed for scheduled appointments, or a family member or responsible party may elect to provide transportation.
