Jenner’s Pond sales at record high. |
| As Jenner’s Pond marketing director Phyllis Dunn prepares to retire and pass the torch to Robyn Botkin, she’ll certainly be leaving with a flourish. Thanks in large part to Phyllis’s hard work, Jenner’s Pond has surpassed its annual sales goal in only six months. It is already a record-setting year for this one-of-a-kind community.
Why are so many people choosing Jenner’s Pond? “We have a fabulous community here with a great fee-for-service financial structure and amazing financial stability,” said Phyllis. “New residents have the opportunity to customize their cottage or apartment, and our customer service is a cut above the rest.” Currently, there are a few move-in-ready residences.

Jenner’s Pond welcomes new director of sales and marketing Robyn Botkin. |
| On August 20, Phyllis Dunn will officially retire as marketing director of Jenner’s Pond and hand the position over to Robyn Botkin. Robyn, who has vast experience in marketing, says she is very excited to be a part of the Jenner’s Pond team.
After working for a number of years in creative services for large and small marketing firms, Robyn began her own agency, Trio Marketing Group, serving a wide array of clients. Having recently sold the company, she was looking for a new opportunity and felt Jenner’s Pond was an outstanding match.
“I’m thrilled to be here,” she said. “It’s a wonderful organization throughout, including the residents, staff and management. I could feel the amazing and unique energy the first time I walked in the door.”
Currently, she’s engaged in a three-month training period, working closely with Phyllis and seeking new opportunities for the community. “Jenner’s Pond is very different from other communities. There’s such a youthful, progressive outlook on senior living. It’s very contemporary,” said Robyn.
Everyone at Jenner’s Pond is pleased to welcome her as part of our team and very much look forward to working with her.
To meet Robyn, please call her directly at (610) 869-6719. |

Golf Classic raises over $62,000 for the Jenner’s Pond Benevolent Care Fund. |
| On June 3, Jenner’s Pond held its 8th Annual Golf Classic, presented by Star Roses, at the beautiful Deerfield Golf and Tennis Club. The daylong event, full of fun and activity, benefits the Jenner’s Pond Benevolent Care Fund—ensuring that no Jenner’s Pond resident will have to leave the community for financial reasons.
The Annual Golf Classic is entirely open to the public and we always invite local businesses to purchase ads in the commemorative program, the proceeds of which will also go to the Benevolent Care Fund. This year’s event generated a total of more than $62,000. It’s a wonderful way for the community to come together to support a great cause.

Hook, line and sinker. |
| Earlier this summer on June 23, a group of Assisted Living residents from the Ruston Residence at Jenner’s Pond, staff members and volunteers hung their “gone fishing” signs up and took a little excursion to Newlin Grist Mill to dip their lines. Though the day was a scorcher, they managed to beat the heat by getting out early in the morning and situating themselves under beautiful shade trees by the water.
After spending a lovely morning enjoying good company and excellent scenery, the group packed up, put the day’s catch on ice and headed back to Jenner’s Pond. As for the nine trout they caught, they were expertly prepared by Jenner’s Pond resident Assunta Toto, with a little help from the dining staff, and enjoyed by everyone who went on the trip. |
