Wellness is more than just a matter of your physical health—it also means your emotional, spiritual, and social well-being. At Jenner’s Pond, our goal is to keep you at your best, in all these respects.
For residents with an active and independent lifestyle, our wellness focus translates into a wide range of preventive care services, regularly scheduled wellness clinics and seminars, and a lifetime membership at the Southern Chester County YMCA.
Wellness is also the focus in our Assisted Living, skilled care, and rehabilitation services. We make wellness the foundation of each resident’s personalized plan of care, because the most effective plan is the one that addresses every aspect of the individual.
Assisted Living
The Ruston Residence at Jenner’s Pond provides a friendly, comfortable setting where residents can enjoy the personalized assistance that makes it possible to live independently, with confidence and security.
Within The Ruston Residence you’ll find a sun-filled solarium, a full-service dining room, comfortable sofas and chairs to welcome relaxation or conversation with friends, and a library with a gas fireplace.
The Ruston Residence offers private suites in one- and two-room floor plans; each comfortably spacious suite includes a private bath and a kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave. Decorated with cherished belongings, family photographs, a favorite armchair, and familiar books, these suites reflect the unique individuals who live here. A sample of standard Ruston Residence services and amenities includes:

Alzheimer’s Care
The Remembrance Wing at The Ruston Residence offers a safe and supportive environment to help maintain the highest possible degree of independence for residents living with Alzheimer’s and related conditions. Private suites, a homelike design with shared living, dining, and recreation areas, and a dedicated staff all help create a reassuring, family-style atmosphere.
Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation, and Long-term Care
Our new Preston Residence provides a complete program of nursing and rehabilitation services, including respite care, in a truly bright and beautiful environment. The furnished private and semiprivate rooms offer lots of space—and lots of light, thanks to large windows with views of the wetlands and woodlands that are part of our campus’ natural setting. Just as nice are the views from our sun-filled atrium, where residents often gather to admire our handsome waterfall sculpture. There’s even an aquatic view, thanks to the twelve-foot-wide, six-foot-high aquarium in our Activities Room.
A fully licensed and Medicare-certified long-term care nursing environment, The Preston Residence offers expert, individualized plans of care directed by each resident’s own personal physician, and overseen by registered nurses and licensed practical nurses. Both short- and long-term rehabilitation services are also available, provided by a team of highly qualified, board-certified physical and occupational therapists.
